At the direction of the City of Barrie, Public Health Agency of Canada and local officials in response to COVID-19 concerns, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Barrie Waterfront Festival scheduled for May 22-24, 2020 in Centennial Park.
The safety and well-being of our attendees, volunteers, staff and community remain our top priority and as such, we are choosing to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19.
We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to next year’s Annual Barrie Waterfront Festival, May 28 - 30, 2021.

Lido Chilelli and Pat Carpignano organize the event - the same producers that created Toronto's Beaches International Jazz Festival, now in its 32nd year of operation and drawing crowds in excess of 900,000 people. Chilelli, recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, and Carpignano are proud to be part of this exciting event in Barrie and have personally selected bands that are real crowd pleasers.
