Live Outdoor Music and Busker Festival

Join us for the 6th Annual Barrie Waterfront Festival, presented by B101 - Barrie’s Hit Music Station and FM 93 - Barrie’s Fresh Music Mix.

On May 29th & 30th, the 6th Annual spring line-up will present live bands from a variety of genres - including jazz, rhythm and blues, soul, latin, flamenco, big band, rockabilly and some good old-fashioned rock n' roll.  For your added enjoyment, free outdoor entertainment will be brought to the table: street buskers, a midway with rides, face painting, street vendors, fresh food, treats and contests . Don't miss this weekend with your family; eat, drink and have fun while sharing in Barrie’s community spirit.

The FREE ADMISSION B101 AND FM 93 STAGE will be located in Heritage Park with an adjacent beer garden.  Festivities will kick off at noon on Saturday, May 29th and continue until 11:00pm.  On Sunday, the events start off at noon and wrap up at 6:00pm.

The City of Barrie and the Downtown Barrie Business Improvement Association are excited to be a partner with PLC Solution.  Lido Chilelli and Pat Carpignano organize the event - the same producers that created Toronto's Beaches International Jazz Festival, now in its 22nd year of operation and drawing crowds in excess of 900,000 people.  Chilelli, recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, and Carpignano are proud to be part of this exciting event in Barrie and have personally selected bands that are real crowd pleasers.
